A standard chimney sweep in Alloway is the best way to prevent fires and keep your fireplace running smoothly. We use brushes and vacuums to clear out creosote, soot, and debris, then inspect the flue for cracks or damage. Unlike some crews that charge extra for ‘hidden’ issues, we tell you upfront what’s wrong and what needs fixing. This is the service most Alloway homeowners need every year, especially if you use your fireplace regularly. We’ll even show you the inside of your chimney so you know exactly what we’re cleaning, and why it matters.
Request this service →If your chimney hasn’t been swept in a while, or if you’ve noticed slow drafts, smoke backing up, or a strong smell, you likely need a deep clean. This goes beyond the standard sweep, using specialized tools to break up thick creosote layers and stubborn deposits. We’ve seen chimneys in Alloway with years of neglect, and the difference after a deep clean is dramatic. It’s not just about passing an inspection; it’s about making sure your fireplace works right and your home stays safe. We’ll explain exactly what we find and whether minor repairs are needed to keep it that way.
Request this service →Not all chimney inspections are created equal. Some crews just glance up your flue and call it a day. We climb up, use a camera to inspect the inside, and check for cracks, rust, or mortar deterioration that could let carbon monoxide into your Alloway home. This isn’t just a formality, it’s how you catch problems early, like a failing liner or a blocked flue, before they turn into a fire hazard or a $2,000 repair. We’ll give you a clear report with photos and recommendations, so you know what’s wrong and what to do about it.
Request this service →Creosote is the sticky, tar-like substance that builds up in chimneys and turns into a fire risk over time. If your chimney has a thick layer, especially the hard, glassy kind, we’ll remove it safely with the right tools and techniques. This is a must-do for homes in Alloway with older fireplaces or ones that aren’t used often, since creosote hardens faster when the chimney sits idle. We won’t just scrape it off and call it good; we’ll check for any damage caused by the buildup and let you know if your chimney needs repairs to stay safe.

Lint buildup in dryer vents traps heat, creating the exact conditions that start laundry room fires. We clean vents from the dryer all the way to the exterior, using a powerful vacuum to suck out every bit of lint and debris. This isn’t just about making your dryer run faster; it’s about safety. We’ve seen vents so packed they were pushing heat back into homes, and the difference after a cleaning is immediate. Plus, your dryer will last longer and use less energy. It’s a small job with big payoffs.
Request this service →If your chimney is blocked, smoke is pouring into your home, or you smell gas, you don’t have time to wait. We offer emergency service for Alloway residents, even on short notice, to clear blockages, check for carbon monoxide leaks, or fix draft problems. This isn’t a premium add-on, it’s about keeping your family safe. We’ll diagnose the issue fast, whether it’s a fallen branch, animal nesting, or a collapsed flue, and get your fireplace working right again. No one should have to deal with a chimney emergency alone, especially when help is just a call away.
